Who is White Tara?

She is the protective, helpful and comforting mother who shows limitless kindness, generosity and protection towards those who are tossed in the ocean of suffering, and if we recite her mantra and make a connection to her, we draw closer to developing her enlightened qualities in ourselves.

Ultimately, she is the very nature of the Dharmakaya – “the ultimate nature or essence of the enlightened mind, which is uncreated, free from the limits of conceptual elaboration, empty of inherent existence, naturally radiant, beyond duality and spacious like the sky” (definition by Karma Lingpa). Her practice is a means for attaining liberation.

Note: you cannot acquire real, mineral-painted Tibetan Thangka's. It takes about a year or more to make each one and now unfortunately there are very few who can. Not to mention that these Thangkas cost the buyer thousands and thousands of dollars. Our new style of Thangka utilizes the highest-quality printing process and is a bit flashier. The images are from the best versions of each deity/subject available and thus we can bring you these very high-quality works for a very good price.

If you received your item/s damaged on delivery, notify us within 3 days and take pictures of the damaged items and send a message with the pictures enclosed. The items will be replaced only if we receive the 3-day notification and pictures. If you need your item/s on a specific date please let us know when you order!
